Omimi 4 U Farms Limited was established in the year 2014 with the purpose of stimulating agricultural activities, creating massive employment for the huge unemployed youths in Imo State, thereby reducing crime, changing the income pattern of the citizens of the state and providing nutrition for a malnourished people.
Bearing in mind that there is no Federal government’s economic presence in Imo state, Aquaculture, can make the state an industrial giant. With the establishment of fish farms, we can determine the volume of fish which we want to produce annually, process them, including smoking in kilns built at the farms, package them very hygienically, and attractively and sell them in stores within the state and beyond.
At OMIMI FARMS we have a catfish hatchery facility with the capacity of producing and stocking 1,000,000 fingerlings every 4 weeks. This makes it the biggest catfish fingerling production facility in Imo State. Fish production begins with fingerling production. We also have Grow –Out ponds.
Omimi Farm has:
1. Fresh fish products of Clarias gariepinus, Heterobranchus longifilis (Catfish), Oreochromis niloticus,( tilapia) of various sizes all through the year.
2. Dry fish products from catfish and tilapia of various sizes all year
3. Vegetable like Cabbages, Lettuce, Ginger, Turmeric, Okra, Onions, Amaranthus, telfaria, water leaf, pepper, tomatoes e.t.c. all year round.
4. The farm grows Cassava, Yams, Cocoa yams and Plantain.
5. Fish feed production through the farm’s feed mill.

Omimi 4 U farms from beginning since 2004. Omimi 4 U farms had been using the services of professional fisheries graduate since inception. We have acquired more lands and built more fish ponds. The farm started with 10,000 fingerlings but today we are looking at 100,000 fingerlings. The farm has a functional hatchery now that can produce the quantity of fingerling we need at every given time. We are also planning to develop a world class fish feed mill that will supply the farm of its fish feed need as well as other fish farms within its environs.
